Fellow bloggers and relocation

Hi all. The Wild Niche has temporarily relocated! Check out my guest post on my friend Sandeep’s site, The Diacritics. It’s a blog about language, so this week’s post focuses on scientific naming and South Africa’s battle over Acacia.

Speaking of friend’s blogs, I’d like to take a quote from my primate-in-crime Joel. He blogs his experiences in Madagascar at Primate Dream. Anyway, he gave me permission steal this quote which rings true:

“My greatest fear with having a blog though is not that it won’t be read. (That’s my second greatest fear.) My greatest fear is that a blog will create a one-way flow of communication, that people will read it but not respond. So while I am in [South Africa], I would love to receive emails from you, either in response to my own posts or about your own life. Despite limited email access, I will try my best to respond to personal emails.”

I couldn’t say it any better.
